This week, we close our time in Psalm 23. There’s a beautiful shift in the psalm when David moves from speaking about God to speaking directly to God. It reminds us that the Christian life is not simply about knowing truths about God, but about knowing Him personally and dwelling with Him in relationship.
The psalm ends with the picture of us seated at God’s table. We are the guests, but God is the gracious host. It points us to the good news of Christ, who surrounds us with His love. He goes before us, remains with us, and faithfully pursues us all the days of our lives.
